Ask the MousePros Agents: Star Wars Edition

Happy Star Wars Day, MousePros fans! In honor of one of my favorite days of the year, as well as all of the Star Wars fun that is coming to Disney Parks over the next year, I asked the MousePros agents a few questions:

Who is your favorite Star Wars character?

What has been your favorite Star Wars experience or moment in the parks?

What Star Wars experience or attraction are you most looking forward to at Disney Parks?

Here's what they had to say!

Emily Milligan: "I love Chewbacca and Yoda. My favorite Star Wars moment at the parks was Star Wars weekend 2015! We watched the parade, traded with Jawas, and Seth was able to meet Anakin and Mace Windu! I’m most looking forward to flying the Millennium Falcon when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens! If any of the latest attractions are any indication of what is to come, it will be out of this world!"

Laura Seitz-Marcomb: "Growing up with the original Star Wars movies it is fair to say Chewbacca is my favorite. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, I love, love, love The March of the Rebellion. With the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, I'm really looking forward to experiencing the new land and people watching."

Sean Duffy: "My favorite character is the wise old hermit Obi Wan. He was so mysterious in the original trilogy and when the prequels came out, things pieced together and we understood exactly who he is.

Pete Gawlinski: "Yoda has always been my favorite character. Favorite, he is. I’m looking forward to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! To pilot the Millennium Falcon will be epic!"

Heather Shorey: "I love everything and all things Star Wars. I actually saw Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in the theater 35 times when I was a kid. I'm a huge Luke Skywalker fan, however I also have a deep appreciation for Darth Vader. I absolutely adored when Darth Vader would come out and dance when they used to have the Star Wars celebration weekend. My favorite in park experience was getting to meet Darth Vader and Chewbacca while I was dressed as Darth Vader. I got called "Lady Vader" all day around the park."

Jenn Muscato: "Chewbacca has to be our favorite! He’s the sweetest and he always talks to me and my son laughs! But one experience that we won’t forget is the Jedi training! We got to the park super early and all pumped up...prayed we would get Darth Vader and he did!!! It was such a fun experience."

Andrea Fraley: "My favorite character is Chewbacca to the point my kids like to go to the meet n greet to tell Chewy how much I love him. My kids love B.B.-8. My favorite Star Wars moment in the parks is when we could trade with the Jawas in the Star Wars Launch Bay. My kids took the time out to find the perfect thing to trade! I’m looking forward experiencing everything Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!"

My personal favorite character is General Leia Organa. I love the powerful female characters that Star Wars brings to the screen. My family also spends a lot of time in Star Wars Launch Bay when we visit Disney's Hollywood Studios, and we always make time to meet the characters. On our last visit, we got to spend quite a bit of time with Kylo Ren. I'm fairly certain my then three-year-old was ready to join the Dark Side after the encounter.

I'm mentally preparing now for our first visit after Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens in Walt Disney World in 2019, and I think I am most looking forward to dining in the cantina. I also won't be sad if there's a Poe Dameron lookalike wandering around. Stay tuned to the blog for the rest of this month as I'll be covering current and future Star Wars attractions and experiences at all Disney Parks.

While you can't book your trip to see Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge just yet, 2019 packages will be announced later this year. Contact MousePros now to get on the list for a free, no obligation quote, and May the Force Be With You!
