Experience the Magic of "Coco" at Disney California Adventure

If your family is anything like mine, you are counting down the days until the next Disney movie release. I think the only films my husband and I have seen in the theater over the last 5 years have been from Walt Disney Studios and Disney-Pixar. This Oh My Disney quiz? Nailed it.

Needless to say, we are all looking forward to Disney-Pixar's next movie, "Coco." I've been anxious to see how this movie will be incorporated into Walt Disney World® (Mexico pavilion maybe?), but until then, fellow Disney-Pixar movie fans can celebrate the release of "Coco" through the Plaza de la Familia festivity at Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure Park® in Disneyland®.

If you attend Plaza de la Familia, you'll get to experience first-hand the tradition of Dia de los Muertos, the celebration of loved ones who have passed and the bonds of family that last forever. You'll experience the stories of "Coco" through a performance including music and dance. A group of Folklórico dancers and the GRAMMY®-winning Mariachi Divas will bring three of the film's songs to life during this daily performance. You can also see The World of Coco exhibit, visit an interactive photo location and a sample a menu of authentic Mexican foods.

Plaza de la Familia begins this week on Friday, September 15th and can be experienced until November 2nd, only at Disney California Adventure Park®. If you attend this celebration, share your pics with us over on our Facebook page. Want to book your own Disneyland® vacation? Contact our agents for a free, no obligation quote!
