Whether your Disney Parks® vacation is a once-in-a-lifetime trip or an annual event, deciding how to spend your hard earned and saved money is a big deal. Lucky for you, MousePros agents are experts at Disney vacations and are always looking for ways to save you money through promotions. They can also recommend other ways you can save money on the cost of your trip.
For this post, though, I asked the agents, "After you've worked so hard to save money on your Disney vacation, what do you plan to splurge on?" Here's what they shared:
MousePros agents Jenna and Andrea splurge on the dining plan for their families. Jenna says this is a treat for them as she and her family don't often go out for nice dinners at home. For Andrea's family, they like to try new restaurants and get a Mickey ice cream bar every day! All of the MousePros agents are able to help you determine which dining plan is the best fit for your vacation and help you add it to your trip.

Heather's family splurges on the after hours events, such as Mickey's Not-So-Very-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. She said that there is a big benefit to attending these events, such as 20-minute wait times for rides like Seven Dwarf's Mine Train. Similar to that, Autumn's family splurges on a special tour or a dessert party that includes a special viewing of the fireworks nighttime shows.

Emily's family splurges on Park Hopper Plus tickets so that they can go to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, in addition to any park on any day of their vacation. On their most recent trip to Walt Disney World, the Milligan family also splurged by renting a shaded lounge chair on a private balcony along the wave pool at Blizzard Beach. Emily says that the $75 fee for the day was well worth it to have this private area during their time there.
Brandi splurges on Memory Maker. This is another add-on that your MousePros agent can help you evaluate and purchase for your vacation. You can read more here about Memory Maker and how it works. Laura splurges on time in the child care centers for her five-year-old twins. She said they love the play time and she and her husband enjoy the kid-free time together.
Pete and his boys save their splurging for shopping at the Lego Store at Disney Springs® at Walt Disney World® and Downtown Disney at Disneyland®. As for my family, our splurge is a deluxe hotel, though shopping is a close second. There's something extra special about bringing home a new plush friend from the parks.
My personal favorite way to splurge comes from Jennifer. Every single trip, Jennifer and her family purchase balloons for other families as a way to spread a little Disney magic. She said they try to find a family with kids who have been waiting in line or for a parade to start, and they always ask the parents ahead of time before making the purchase. What a fun way to splurge a little and make someone else's best day ever!
