Ask the MousePros Agents: Top Five Ways to Use Snack Credits

I consider myself to be a Disney nerd. I estimate that 75% of my Facebook newsfeed is, at all times, filled with Disney news, products, and questions from Disney groups that I like to read for fun. My Disney knowledge is a source of pride for me, and yet, I am always blown away by how knowledgeable MousePros agents are about all things related to Walt Disney World®, Disneyland®, Adventures by Disney®, and Disney Cruise Line®. They truly know their stuff, which is why I want to bring you, MousePros fans, friends, and family, a new regular segment that I like to call Ask the MousePros Agents.

This week, I asked the agents to tell me their favorite ways to spend snack credits on the dining plan. Here are their top five recommendations:

5. Drinks. You can use a single credit and split a LeFou's Brew from Gaston's Tavern in the Magic Kingdom or even grab your favorite drink from the Starbucks® located in each park. An ice cold frozen coffee is a great way to refuel during a long, hot day at the parks.

4. Savory Snacks. If you're craving something savory, try the chicken fried rice at Yak & Yeti Restaurant or the edamame at Mr. Kamal's Vegetarian Cart in Animal Kingdom Park. Mickey Mouse soft pretzels are also an agent favorite. You can get them plain, with cheese sauce for dipping, or with cream cheese in numerous locations throughout all parks.

3. Ice Cream. If a cold sweet treat is needed (when isn't it?), you can grab a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar, which can be found at ice cream carts throughout each park. You can also find hand scooped ice cream at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in the Magic Kingdom. If you're in Epcot® when the mood for ice cream strikes, one agent suggests visiting the Italy pavilion and seeking out the ice cream sandwich. Adding that to my list for my next visit!

2. Sweet Treats. If you're looking for something sweet that isn't ice cream, head on over to Epcot®. Nearly all of the MousePros agents suggestions for sweet treats come from this park! When in the Italy pavilion, try a cannoli at Tutto Italia Ristorante, and when you're visiting the Germany pavilion, check out Karamell-Küche, which translates to Caramel Kitchen - yum! Don't forget to visit Kringla Bakeri Og Cafe in the Norway pavilion for a sandwich or pastry. In the United States of America pavilion, you can find a funnel cake, with or without ice cream, just in case you couldn't quite decide between ice cream and a pastry! When leaving the World Showcase (though how can you with all these treats to taste), look for Refreshment Port on your way over to Future World. There you can find a delicious croissant doughnut. Other agent favorites include rice krispie treats and cupcakes, which can be found in locations throughout parks and resorts.

1. Dole Whip! Was there ever any doubt that Dole Whip would be the number one recommendation? You can get it as soft serve, as a float, or even an adult version with a splash of rum! If pineapple isn't quite your thing, you can look for the closely related and also popular Citrus Swirl ice cream. You can find Dole Whip at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom behind Magic Carpets of Aladdin. You can find Citrus Swirl in the Magic Kingdom at Sunshine Tree Terrace behind Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. In Disneyland®, you can find Dole Whip at the Enchanted Tiki Room Tiki Juice Bar. There are other locations throughout the parks and resorts that now serve Dole Whip, so be sure to ask your MousePros agent for their favorite spot to enjoy this delicious treat.
